Today was interesting. I was invited to the neighbors’ house for bbq ribs and pulled pork dinner. And we went bowling at lunch.
Breakfast – coffee with Ripple milk as my creamer. I like this Dolcedi sweetener that I’ve been getting at WF — it’s some kind of apple reduction w a decent glycemic index. Banana. Wasn’t feelin breakfast today.
**I can tell that I will become fast friends with Ripple – the taste is miles ahead of soy and nut creamers which are basically white water from my experience; Ripple tastes pretty much like milk and is very filling. It also has a ton of protein, omega 3 and fewer calories than milk. Yay peas. The chocolate is great for taking with vitamins.
Lunch – ate at a bowling alley. Still wasn’t super hungry. Hummus (which was not good) and pita bread. And a few fries. And maybe a Dos Equis. A salad would have been a better option.
Dinner – salad; rolls (that had egg in the ingredients but I forgot to check until after I had 2); I made seitan bacon in the afternoon and had some prior to going over for dinner. Successfully stayed away from the bbq but the neighbors did as why I ate a burger a few days ago and then didn’t want their slow smoked bbq. Awkward. I had to explain.
All in all, it was ok. The bbq did smell amazing but I was fine without it.
